McCain Advisor: "We have sort of become a nation of whiners."
In an interview with the Washington Times, McCain's top economic adviser Phil Gramm tells America to suck it up and stop complaining about the economy:
"You've heard of mental depression; this is a mental recession," he said, noting that growth has held up at about 1 percent despite all the publicity over losing jobs to India, China, illegal immigration, housing and credit problems and record oil prices. "We may have a recession; we haven't had one yet."
"We have sort of become a nation of whiners," he said. "You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in decline" despite a major export boom that is the primary reason that growth continues in the economy, he said.
Are all of you whinning when you buy groceries and gas for your family? Well, stop it. McCain doesn't like it.

McCain threw Phil Gramm under the bus because of the elitist remark. But Gramm is a long-time close friend of McCain's and his chief economic advisor. Notice he did not fire Gramm. So the elite still run his campaign as I look at it.
Republican logic:
1. Americans shouldn't whine about the economy.
2. Therefore, whining is un-American.
3. People who are un-American are terrorists.
4. Terrorists get sent to Guantanamo to be water-boarded.
5. It's hard to whine when undergoing simulated drowning, eh?
LOL, so far there isn't a single candidate to vote for President. At this point, I am being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Man, the only thing happening in this race is a contest to see who can throw more people under the bus - McCain or Obama.
