I am moving my blog over to Blogger at http://rogerbell.blogspot.com/. So this is moving day. I will keep this blog in place until Vox offers us a backup feature. Then I can import my posts over to the new blog. Thanks to all my friends here. Hope you will come visit me. It's just the Internet, you know. <big grin>
I won't finish that quote, but I am still alive and often kicking. It was very nice that Aput wrote me to let me know that folks were a bit worried by my absence and may have lost me since I changed my blog name for the US election (I was formerly Matthew 25).
My work is seriously busy, I am getting out of the house more on weekends, and have joined a gym after a three-year absence. I do enjoy blogging and do plan on continuing this blog, probably under a new name after the election (or before, if Hillary is nominated). I am one of those very strong Obama supporters who realizes that even if Hillary wins the nomination, she'll be far better as President than four more years of this Republican nightmare.
Just to let you know that I haven't forgotten my blog. Work has been extremely busy of late and I haven't felt like blogging. I should return to it soon. Not getting rid of me that easily.
Is average blogging little more than shameless self-promotion and stream of consciousness projection? I'm not talking about blogging sites that actually offer useful information. No, I'm talking about most of the Vox and Blogger sites, to pick just two examples. I include Matthew 25 in the heap.
With me, it has to do with living alone after two wonderful love relationships (17 and 7 years respectively). I just get lonely and need to say what's on my mind...and maybe just promote myself in the process. Doesn't matter if no one listens to reads my thoughts or not. Or does it? Who knows?!
As a writer, I enjoy writing down my own thoughts instead of developing the training materials I write at work. As a techie nerd, I enjoy learning the technology and how to apply HTML and styles. While blogging is not as addictive as cigarettes or crack, it does have that mememememe kind of lure, like the sirens of yore.
Anyway...I saw my Technorati ranking taking a dive (Authority: 19 Rank: 437,475), so I wanted to include some of the terms of the most popular searches. Please feel free to push me to the top ranking by adding more terms in the comments. Let's make this fun and feed my ego too. ;-)
Here are some popular Technorati searches:
Some of you have higher rankings I'm sure, but Matthew 25 has broken through the Technorati 100,000 ceiling and is at this posting ranked 97,173 89,532. In the blogosphere, that is nice since I don't advertise the blog.
Please share your ranking here or rank Technorati if you want.
No content yet, but this is supposed to be the site: http://integrityjustice.com/.
Please join me in welcoming my friend, Keith (pictured on the right), to Vox. This is Keith's first blog. He also is one of the original knights of the "round table."
